Congregate Meals

Meals are served Monday thru Friday at each of our locations between the hours of 12 noon and 1:00 PM. It is recommended to make a "reservation" 24 hours in advance in order to have enough food prepared however, walk-ins are welcome too.

Home Delivered Meals

For those seniors unable to prepare their meals, or are limited in their ability to travel, Colfax County Senior Citizens, Inc. offers home delivered meals to qualifying seniors Monday thru Friday. To those with special needs, evening and weekend meals may also be provided. Call for an assessment.

Transportation

For those who are unable to get to and from appointments, we provide transportation services and also have available an ADA compliant van for those in need.  Transportation can be provided for the following:

• Shopping excursions

• Doctor's Appointments

• General transportation needs

• Recreational activities

Home Maker Service

Homemakers provide "in home" services to clients who are no longer able to perform their normal home care. They will:

​

• Sweep and mop floors

• Vacuum and Dust

• Clean bathrooms, (commode, tub. basin and floors)

• Clean bedroom and change linens

• Clean kitchen (dishes and their refrigerator)

• Clean interior windows

 

Chore

The Chore Person will provide services related to general upkeep of your home. They can:

• Move furniture

• Stacking cut and split wood

• Mow lawns

• Weeding 

• Snow removal

• Minor interior painting

• Minor repairs

• Cleaning of carpets and rugs

• Clean exterior windows
